An interesting overview, 2003-11-21
The good thing about this book is that it shows of many ways to the goal of good health, with several very different success stories, instead of proclaiming the "one and only diet" or the "one and only medicine" etc. It is put together from messages in a chatroom, which makes it mostly easy to read, but maybe confusing to those who have no information of the problem already. But since it is a confusing problem, with no clear cut answer, I find it true to life.
Many references makes it easy to search further.

Do Not Waste Your Money On This Book, 2003-11-20
After reading the positive reviews, I decided to order The Health Forum by Polly Hattemer. I was greatly disappointed when I opened the book to see it was simply typed copies of emails from her "chatroom". I have found hundreds of places via the internet that are much more informative and up to date than the pile of junk written in this book. Look into candidafree.net, candidasupport.org, drnatura.com, gifam.org, viableherbalsolutions.com, herbalremedies.com, parasitecleanse.com, baar.com (Candida Clear Tablets). This book is a complete waste of money and does not help you solve your problem.

Excellent Candida Resource, 2003-02-06
I enjoyed reading the Heath Forum Book immensely. I am now rereading it, and will use it as my main reference in getting well. The people on the forum are very intelligent and well read. They share their personal experiences with supplements and other treatments which help with Yeast, Parasites and Bacteria. I have had candida for many years and now feel there is light at the end of the tunnel with this useful information!
I will share it with my health food store friends. I'm anxiously awaiting Volume 2 and 3!

Useful for parents and caregivers of people with autism, 2002-12-25
We are the parents of a 36 year old man who has autism, epilepsy and ALS. We are always looking for books that will help us in understanding our son's health issues. This author has included many specific references to autism. For this reason, we are finding the book very helpful in understanding candida, vitamins, parasites and other aspects of health that affect autistic people. We are also presently using this book's information on Lyme Disease to check out some of our son's symptoms.
The book gives sources and contacts for those who use the net and for those who use the mail and telephone. The text is understandable to those just beginning to research health problems, while at the same time, the text is useful to those who have been researching health issues for a while.
We highly recommend this book to others who have a family member with autism or who know or work with a person with autism. We purchased several copies of this book for our friends and family members.
