Who gets Thrush?...

Anyone can have an attack of thrush, male or female, young or old.

In people whose immune systems are compromised, the Candida infection can become systemic, causing a much more serious condition, known as fungemia.

Children mostly in the age range, 3 years to 9 years can be affected by chronic mouth yeast infections. This is not a very common situation though. It is normally seen around the mouth as white patches.
